Tonic3 is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize automated data pipelines using the Microsoft ecosystem. You will implement a Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and ensure data readiness for enterprise analytics and Power BI dashboards built on Fabric.

Role emphasizes part-time, hourly engagement with remote collaboration, requiring strong Python/PySpark and SQL skills and experience with Azure data services.

Qualifications

• Experience building and monitoring automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience implementing Data Lake and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Strong Python/PySpark and SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure data stack (Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS).
• Excellent English communication for client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources into cloud.
• Establish Bronze/Silver/Gold Medallion Architecture storage layers.
• Develop and run automated Python/PySpark scripts for data validation and transformation.
• Model and stage data for Power BI reporting on top of Fabric.
• Orchestrate workflows with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and BI Analysts to align with client requirements.
