Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to join the IT Organization. You will design and maintain automated data transformation pipelines using Azure-based technologies to support data architecture across the globe.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, preparation, validation, and providing data access for analytics and model deployment. Relocation may be considered and expat sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• +5 years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with ETL/数据 pipelines, big data, cloud computing and data architecture.
• Familiarity with Azure based data technologies and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business data needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated data transformation pipelines.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists by preparing data for analytics models.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to scale and deploy models.
