Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina is hiring a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data transformation pipelines supporting data architecture design. The role involves working with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and other cloud data services to enable analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, preparation, validation and providing data products to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data ingestion, preparation and validation; data movement and transformation.
• Knowledge of cloud data architecture, data security and analytics tooling such as Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and related services.

Responsabilités

• Understand business data needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Ingest, prepare, and transform data for analytics use.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists by storing data for analytics models.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to scale and deploy models.
