Job summary

Maxit Consulting - Max Corporate Group is seeking a skilled Datacenter Operations Technician in Argentina to maintain server hardware, validate network connectivity, and guide junior staff. The role focuses on high availability, change control, and cross-team collaboration at customer sites.

Responsibilities include hardware maintenance, cable validation, resolving escalations within SLAs, and mentoring colleagues while coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Datacenter operations and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to guide technicians and implement networking solutions.
• Knowledge of SOPs and MOPs and data center change control.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for other team members to work with servers and main hardware.
• Guides and coaches technicians on hardware replacement and best practices for power distribution units.
• Guides technicians on network configurations and validates cabling and connectivity.
• Monitors and assigns work in ticketing environment, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Ensures safety, security, and compliance during on-site work.
• Trains advanced techniques and supports continuous improvement in Data Center Change Control processes.
• Collaborates with project teams and vendors to test and validate installations and performance.
