Reboot Monkey in Totoras, Argentina, is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

You will perform hardware installations, migrations, cabling, server racking, cross-connects, and coordinate with remote NOC and client teams. 2+ years data center or IT infra experience required, with strong cabling and server hardware knowledge (Dell, HP, Supermicro).

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills with Cat5e/6/6a and fiber (single/multi-mode).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional English communication.
• Willingness to work on-site and have own transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured copper and fiber cabling.
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Perform cross-connects and work on patch panels.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues; document work with photos and notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Maintain on-site readiness and safety practices.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for full-time work in Totoras, AR. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issuesDocument all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site
• Professional communication skills in English
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) - preferred
• Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+) - preferred
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems - preferred
• Familiarity with major colocation providers - preferred
• Standard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers, fiber inspection equipment
