Job summary

PwC Buenos Aires is seeking an Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (L1) to monitor client environments, identify threats, and assist with incident response. You will learn across cybersecurity tools, governance, and operations within a fast-paced, global-enabled team.

You will work alongside senior colleagues, gathering data from multiple sources, interpreting patterns, and communicating findings, with focus on information security and data protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.
• Internship, coursework, or project exposure to cybersecurity operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across client environments to identify threats.
• Investigate incidents by gathering evidence and escalating issues by severity.
• Perform initial triage of security tickets and route to appropriate path.
• Review endpoint, network, and cloud logs to support incident analysis and vulnerability assessment.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and controls in daily tasks.
• Support containment and recovery actions under senior guidance.
• Record case details and remediation steps in ticketing systems.
• Contribute to security monitoring routines and regulatory response activities.
