Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires invites applications for a Senior Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst. You will join a global advisory ecosystem and help protect client environments by monitoring events, investigating threats, and guiding junior staff in incident response.

You will work across PwC's Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services teams, applying security frameworks and best practices to deliver robust solutions while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events, alerts, and incidents across client environments to identify unusual activity and elevate findings.
• Investigate potential threats by analyzing logs, indicators of compromise, and endpoint data from security tooling.
• Support incident response activities by gathering evidence, documenting actions, and tracking remediation steps.
• Tune detection content and review alert logic to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.
• Prepare clear case notes, incident summaries, and status updates for client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and control requirements to routine operational reviews and assessments.
• Collaborate across technical teams to resolve vulnerabilities, strengthen monitoring coverage, and support corrective actions.
• Guide junior team members through operational tasks, knowledge sharing, and peer review of assigned work.
• Understand the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection.
• Ensure correct Information Security Management practices

As a Senior Associate - Cybersecurity Operations Analyst you will support cybersecurity operations work focused on identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring threats, and helping protect client systems and sensitive data within our Cybersecurity practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, guide junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating changing priorities and contributing to the delivery of cybersecurity solutions. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will use a broad range of tools, methods, and techniques to solve problems, interpret data for insights, understand how your work connects to broader project goals, and uphold professional and technical standards while deepening your technical skills and business context.

Responsibilities

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 4 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
• - At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to enterprise cybersecurity governance and operations, including CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credentials
• - Demonstrating cybersecurity operations experience in client-facing settings
• - Interpreting security monitoring data to inform recommendations
• - Using critical thinking to address complex incident patterns
• - Guiding junior team members through shifting priorities
