Overview

The Continuous Improvement Manager reports directly to the Sr Director PMO & C-IMP. This position is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement projects and initiatives across various business functions within the Business Service Center. The role ensures that processes are efficient, cost-effective, and align with company standards and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management and Implementation:

    • Lead efforts to pursue continuous improvement for end-to-end processes in collaboration with various teams.

    • Propose and follow up on improvement and efficiency projects.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group policy, deadlines, and internal control practices.

    • Research and drive the implementation of best practices and new technologies.

  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:

    • Establish key performance indicator analysis, suggesting and following up on relevant action plans.

    • Ensure an efficient communication between different teams and that objectives and priorities are met.

    • Assist with the research and resolution of issues that create bottlenecks in processes.

    • Take on the role of Business Process Owner to drive process enhancements.

  • Collaboration and Training:

    • Ensure seamless cooperation among team members on cross-functional initiatives with Human Resources, Accounting, and IT departments.

    • Organize training and development to address competency gaps for current and potential roles.

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external providers of benchmarking opportunities.

    • Promote a business process excellence culture by working effectively with process and functional leaders.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, or 8+ years of equivalent work experience managing AP functions.

Experience/Certifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive role focused on process improvement, preferably in a shared services center.

  • Experience with invoice flow management is a plus.

  • A proven track record of successful project management and implementation.

Language Requirements

  • English proficiency required [B2/C1].

  • Spanish mandatory.
