Job summary

MPIV Partners is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to assess cloud environments, identify risks, and guide clients in implementing scalable security improvements. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to design secure cloud architectures and optimize security platforms.

You will review Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code deployments, integrate security into development workflows, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts: IAM, network security, data protection, logging/monitoring, incident response.
• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, or vulnerability-management tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, infrastructure as code, or CI/CD security.
• Understanding of application security and DevSecOps practices: SAST/DAST, software supply-chain security, secure development principles.
• Ability to translate findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, excessive permissions, exposure paths, and other cloud risks.
• Implement and optimize CNAPP, CSPM, and related cloud security solutions.
• Review cloud architectures, Kubernetes environments, Terraform configurations, and CI/CD workflows.
• Recommend practical remediation strategies considering technical and business constraints.
• Support the adoption of DevSecOps across the software lifecycle.
• Conduct security reviews and participate in threat-modeling activities.
• Collaborate with client security, engineering, infrastructure and DevOps teams.
• Create clear technical documentation, standards, implementation guides, and runbooks.
• Monitor emerging cloud threats and contribute to MPIV Partners’ methodologies.
