Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Project Lead to support clinical trial delivery, liaising with clinical teams to accelerate bringing new drugs to market. The role sits on the core project team responsible for delivering studies in line with SOPs, policies and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will manage sub-teams, coordinate with vendors, monitor progress, identify risks, and help ensure quality, timing and budget goals while supporting revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• +4–5 years of clinical research experience, mainly in project management at CRO or pharma.
• Strong vendor management experience mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; strong presentation skills.
• Ability to plan resources, meet deadlines, and manage cross-functional teams across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated study management plans with core project team.
• Serve as primary contact for vendors and manage vendor activities.
• Oversee project scope, quality, and cost to meet contract obligations.
• Set sub-team objectives and monitor performance.
• Coordinate across functional groups to hit milestones.
• Identify risks and work with leaders on solutions.
• Support financial success and accelerate revenue where possible.
• Lead cross-collaboration to resolve issues and manage changes.
