Beachside Vacation Rentals is seeking a Cleaning Coordinator to manage turnover operations for vacation rentals. This remote, monthly role requires coordinating cleaners, optimizing routes, and ensuring guest-ready properties on time.

You will work 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST, Thursday through Monday, communicating in English and Spanish, and contributing to operational excellence with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

The Role

The Cleaning Coordinator owns the turnover engine at Beachside — making sure every property is cleaned, inspected, and guest-ready on time, every time. You\'re the daily link between our cleaning teams and the rest of operations: building schedules, optimizing routes, tracking cleaner performance, and jumping on any issue that could put a check-in at risk. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role for someone who thinks in logistics and refuses to let a turnover slip.

What You\'ll Do

• Communicate and coordinate with cleaners daily — assignments, expectations, real-time updates, and quick problem-solving in both English and Spanish.
• Build and manage cleaning schedules around check-in/check-out timing, with route optimization to keep teams efficient and on time.
• Track cleaner performance — quality, timeliness, reliability — and surface issues and top performers to leadership.
• Ensure every clean is completed and verified before guest check-in, reviewing cleaner photos for quality assurance.
• Manage same-day turnovers and last-minute changes without dropping a property.
• Coordinate deep cleans, couch/carpet cleaning, and special requests as needed.
• Partner with the Guest Experience and Maintenance teams to resolve cleanliness-related issues fast.
• Track linens, supplies, and inventory so teams are never caught short.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs, schedules, and documentation daily.
• Help onboard and train new cleaners, and keep the cleaner roster current.
• Flag recurring issues and propose process improvements that make turnovers faster and cleaner.

Who You Are

• Fluent, professional English and Spanish (written and spoken). You\'ll coordinate cleaners in Spanish and the internal team in English.
• Available to work 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST, Thursday through Monday.
• Highly organized and logistics-minded — you think in schedules, routes, and timing.
• Calm and decisive under pressure, especially during tight same-day turnovers.
• A strong, clear communicator who keeps teams aligned and informed.
• Detail-oriented and accountable — you follow through and keep documentation tight.
• Self-directed and dependable in a remote setup — reliable computer, stable high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.

Nice to Have

• Experience in vacation rental, short-term rental, hospitality, or cleaning/field operations.
• Familiarity with Guesty, Turno, Breezeway, ResortCleaning, or similar STR/cleaning software.
• Experience with scheduling or route-optimization tools.
• A background coordinating field teams or contractors.
