Marvik, a 200+ person AI and machine learning consultancy, seeks a CFO to shape financial strategy and execute in a fast-growing environment. The role spans multi-country accounting, investor relations, and strategic finance with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to scale processes.

Location preferences include Uruguay or Argentina with openness to remote work. CPA/MBA are required, and experience with private equity and US-market exposure is highly valued.

Formación

• Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience at a technology company, ideally with a professional services model.
• Experience as the direct finance counterpart to a private equity investor.
• US exposure and education in the US, or a career built working in or closely with US companies.
• CPA and/or MBA required
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Multi-country experience across jurisdictions and transfer pricing
• Comfort operating in a lean, high-growth environment with hands-on involvement
• Excellent communication skills for Board and investor-facing work

Responsabilidades

• Own the economics of an evolving professional services model.
• Manage relationships with existing and prospective investors, and represent the company in diligence processes.
• Oversee accounting, financial controls and reporting infrastructure across multiple countries; ensure compliance.
• Advise the CEO and Board on capital structure, valuation and strategic financial decisions.
• Scale the finance and accounting functions as the company grows.
• Use AI to scale operations: automating reporting, close and forecasting so the function grows more slowly than the business does.
• Support corporate development activities

We're growing fast, with the US enterprise market as our main focus.
About the role

The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the Board of Directors and the rest of the executive team. This is a hands-on role for an executive who can do both: set the financial strategy and execute at the operational level in a high-growth environment.

Location: Uruguay or Argentina preferred, but open to remote candidates.
