Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies, including monitoring, inspection, and implementation activities.
• Experience assessing and interpreting chemical treatment monitoring data and recommending changes to corrosion control strategies.
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies, including chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring and inspection activities, and reporting of trends.
• Provide technical assessment and interpretation of chemical treatment monitoring data and recommend changes to corrosion criticality analyses and monitoring/inspection programs.
• Serve as SME for water, oil, and gas treatment facilities in El Trapial Field to improve OE, production, reliability, and cost performance.
• Follow up on contractor performance through daily field visits and interaction with Operations & Maintenance, Laboratory, and chemical service provider personnel.
• Lead OE execution in the field with a strong focus on safety, ensuring activities comply with process safety and HSE standards.
• Prepare forecasts and monthly tracking of operating costs and facility improvements related to chemical products in the field.
• Propose and lead medium- and long-term optimization initiatives focused on reliability, integrity, operational efficiency, and reduction of total treatment costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and propose new technologies.
