Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes and serve customers professionally. The role emphasizes adhering to safety standards and completing necessary documentation with a focus on timely service.

The position requires pre- and post-trip inspections, proper loading/unloading of waste, and consistent communication with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service each customer as identified.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure safety and report issues.
• Load and unload refuse, operate the packer blade, and dispose of waste at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports to maintain productivity.
