Job summary

Producers Rice Mill seeks a Brewer Truck Loader to inspect carriers, load brewer (broken rice) onto hopper trucks, and seal as required. You will also clean and sanitize the loading area, maintain pre-loading records, and assist with bin rotation alongside Shipping.

You may participate in unloading hopper trailers and collecting rice samples. The role requires reading and speaking fluent English, ability to climb up to 40 feet, lift up to 100 lbs, and conformity with PPE and safety policies in

Responsibilities

• Inspect carrier before loading brewer (rice) onto hopper trucks.
• Place seals on carrier when required and record seal numbers.
• Perform dry cleaning and sanitation of loading area and equipment.
• Maintain pre-loading inspection and sanitation records.
• Assist with bin selection and rotation with shipping.
• Unload hopper trailers into the receiving belt system.
• Collect rice samples as part of quality checks.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends.

Job Summary

Responsible for inspecting carrier before loading brewer (broken rice) on to hopper trucks and placing seals on the carrier if required. Must also perform dry cleaning using compressed air and sweeping of and sanitation of the Brewer Loading Area and equipment on a defined frequency (ground level up to roof). Will also be responsible for completing and maintaining pre-loading inspection and sanitation records and recording seal numbers on to bills and documents. This position works closely with the shipping department to ensure proper bin selection and rotation occur. This area also unloads hopper trailers into the receiving belt system. Collection of rice samples is also conducted.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 40 feet as needed.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs. as needed.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to be trained to transfer rice from bin to bin.
• Must be willing and able to learn rice varieties.
• Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safey policies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
