ENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company delivering field-focused BIM services. The Job Captain will lead multidisciplinary modeling teams, supervise modelers, and drive quality across project stages.

You’ll manage RFIs/RFCs, perform QA/QC reviews, and influence strategies while coordinating with clients and stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Revit/Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects, excellent English, and a strong end-to-end project understanding.

Formación

• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for various construction sectors.
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks; BIM coordination, QAQC, and model accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (architects considered with MEP experience).
• 5+ years using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects.
• Skilled in QAQC and anticipating issues through team collaboration.
• Understanding of end-to-end project scope, kick-off, setup and standards.
• Experience managing budgets with cost-control focus.

We provide MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and Scan to BIM services, as well as a comprehensive array of BIM production services to architects, engineers, and owners.

The Role

We are looking for a Job Captain to lead multidisciplinary modeling teams across complex architectural and engineering projects. This role requires a strong command of BIM software, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive quality and coordination across project stages.

As a Job Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring modelers, ensuring adherence to best practices, project standards, and timelines. You will proactively identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs and RFCs efficiently, and conduct in-depth Quality Control reviews across assigned disciplines. Your role goes beyond execution—you will influence modeling strategies and ensure seamless collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines advanced modeling capabilities with solid experience overseeing documentation workflows, driving cross-disciplinary coordination, and proactively addressing complex technical challenges. This role calls for a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to lead with confidence and clarity.

Minimum mandatory requirements

• excellent level of English is an absolute must, both spoken and written. Aspiring candidates must be able to keep up with fluent conversations both with native and non-native speakers. Candidates without this requirement will NOT be considered.
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction. This can include things like process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, and boilers), for plumbing, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and hangers.
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto can also be considered, but Navisworks will be prioritized), knowledge of BIM coordination, clash report, QAQC, and model accuracy.
• A mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered, but only if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves).
• +5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks for large-scale MEP projects.
• Skilled in QAQC, with the ability to anticipate issues by leveraging team members' strengths and weaknesses.
• Strong understanding of the project's end-to-end scope, kick-off and set up, requirements, applicable standards, and all related technical documentation.
• Experience managing project budgets, with a strong focus on cost control and alignment with project objectives.
• Experience managing teams of modelers and dealing directly with clients.

Nice to have: Familiarity with U.S.-based construction projects.
