Political Asylum Lawyers, a Houston-based immigration law firm, is seeking a bilingual client liaison located in Argentina to support attorneys, paralegals, and staff in managing asylum cases.

You will engage clients daily in English and Spanish, respond to inquiries, track case milestones, and keep teammates informed to maintain steady progress under pressure.

This role includes comprehensive training, mentorship, and clear pathways for advancement within a mission-driven, high-standards team.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing immigration applications is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; comfortable using both languages professionally.
• Tech-focused with eagerness to learn new online systems and procedures.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; empathetic under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff in serving clients.
• Serve as the firm’s main contact with clients, supporting attorneys and paralegals.
• Return phone calls and reply to emails from clients and potential clients.
• Provide status updates so clients understand case progress and next steps.
• Coordinate case logistics: scheduling appointments, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies.
