Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for team members to work with servers and main hardware to ensure efficient performance across its lifecycle.
• Guides and coaches junior technicians on power distribution units and replacement hardware, removing and troubleshooting hardware without disturbing critical infrastructure.
• Guides and instructs junior technicians on implementing defined network communications and solutions, signing off on client configurations.
• Validates cabling and confirms network environment build and connectivity are established, devices connected and error-free.
• Monitors and assigns work in the ticketing system, mentoring juniors or implementing solutions to meet SLAs.
• Oversees adherence to SOPs/MOPs, site rules, colocation vendor rules, and signs off tasks within data center/customer sites.
• Trains advanced repair techniques aligned with corporate SOPs/MOPs for data center change control processes.
• Identifies repeating problems, escalating issues to senior peers/external experts, and engaging global teams on local issues.
• Leads collaboration with project teams/partners to test installations and coordinate site utility requirements.
• Acts as a technical liaison to resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
• Ensures contractors and vendors deliver quality services and SLAs are met.
• Contributes to QA through process creation and training of less experienced peers.
• Completes complex tasks with limited instructions and guides team on shifting priorities.
• Collaborates across teams to deliver impactful work and build partnerships.
• Develops and shares procedures to troubleshoot routine or complex issues.
• Embraces continuous learning and updates knowledge with trends and best practices.
