AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports, turning large datasets into actionable insights for senior leaders and product teams. The role emphasizes end-to-end data visualization, data source validation, and clear communication of findings across stakeholders.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage AI coding tools, and own data storytelling from discovery to delivery while maintaining high data quality and impact.

Competenze

• 5+ years of SQL development experience.
• 3+ years Tableau development experience.
• Prior hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate data models and calculations.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including hands‑on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands‑on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands‑on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor, across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for running ad‑hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

NICE TO HAVES

• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.
