Hy-Vee's Bakery Clerk role keeps one of our busiest departments running smoothly and smelling amazing. You’ll prepare and replenish baked goods, assist customers at the bakery counter, and help create a warm, welcoming experience that makes shoppers want to return.

No two shifts are the same; you’ll monitor product freshness, follow sanitation procedures, and work with teammates to deliver outstanding service. Prior bakery experience is welcome, and a positive, team‑oriented attitude is valued.

Formación

• No formal education required; up to six months related experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for handling purchases.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers warmly and assist at the bakery counter.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods.
• Monitor product freshness and inventory levels.
• Follow sanitation procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Operate the department register for sales when needed.
• Support teammates and assist in other store areas as required.
