Hy-Vee is seeking a Delicatessen Clerk to handle food safely and keep the department clean. You will run registers, process payments, and provide courteous, friendly service to customers and teammates.

You will support production lists, check freshness, restock items as needed, and collaborate with store staff to ensure a positive shopping experience. Experience at least six months preferred; high school not required.

Formación

• High school equivalent or less; up to 6 months related experience.
• Ability to handle money and operate cash register.
• Knowledge of food safety basics and sanitation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether in the designated department or elsewhere in the store.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading or unloading heavy items, and noting suggestions or requests.
