AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build and maintain PHP-based systems powering distributed services. You will apply strong OOP and system design skills to ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and performant, while emphasizing clean code and solid engineering fundamentals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science/engineering.
• 2 years of backend software engineering experience, primarily in PHP production environments.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience building and maintaining backend systems and service integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and integrations supporting company products and distributed services.
• Contribute to distributed systems and microservices for scalability and reliability.
• Apply OOP principles and architectural patterns to ensure extensibility and maintainability.
• Implement and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).
• Optimize system performance using data structures, caching strategies, and profiling.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and support teams to deliver features.
