Bluelight is seeking an ETL Data Engineer to join our expanding data team. You will design, develop, and maintain data integration processes using Python (PySpark) and Azure Synapse Analytics to deliver reliable analytic data for stakeholders.

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and security while supporting data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Azure Data Engineer cert is a plus.
• Extensive ETL experience with Python (PySpark) for REST APIs, SQL, and CSV data.
• Proficient in Azure Synapse resources including Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, and Key Vault.
• Strong SQL skills with SparkSQL and MS SQL for data extraction, transformation, and load.
• Experience with data integration best practices and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiar with big data, ML, and data analysis; Power BI/Tableau experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines using PySpark in Azure Synapse.
• Design data warehouses with star schemas and dimensional models.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Build scalable notebooks and pipelines in Azure Synapse.
• Contribute to data fabric concepts and data cataloging.
• Collaborate with data architects on data models.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor pipelines.
• Document ETL processes and data flows.
• Support cross-functional teams and ensure data security/compliance.
