Bluelight is a leading software consultancy across the Americas, seeking an ETL Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines. You will work with PySpark in Azure Synapse, build data stores, and integrate REST APIs, databases, and CSV sources.

Formación

• Experience in ETL data engineering with Python (PySpark) to extract/transform/load from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSVs.
• Proficiency with Azure Synapse Analytics resources: Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, and Azure Key Vault.
• Strong SQL skills (SparkSQL and MS SQL) and data integration best practices.
• Familiarity with data governance, version control (Git/Azure DevOps), and data visualization tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines in PySpark within Azure Synapse.
• Design data warehouses using star schemas, facts, and dimensions.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL tables, and CSV files.
• Optimize notebooks/pipelines for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with data architects to model data aligned to business needs.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor pipeline reliability.
• Document ETL processes and data flows.
• Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
