Netrix Global is seeking an AWS Data Engineer for its Professional Services - Data Intelligence team. You will support the development, maintenance and ongoing improvement of client data platforms, spanning lakehouse architectures, data pipelines and cloud analytics.

You’ll collaborate with data scientists and engineers, design ETLs/ELTs, manage data lakes, and work with Hadoop/Spark ecosystems. Remote-friendly Argentina location, standard business hours, with opportunities to learn and grow.

Formación

• Experience in ETL/ELT, data prep and ingest, and data streaming.
• Experience working in AWS environments and cloud data services.
• Knowledge of Python, R or other data processing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, prepare data for modern data solutions and AI.
• Design ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.
• Design, build and manage data lakes architectures.
• Work with Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow).
• Integrate and test data solutions and document tests.
• Work with Big Data environments and data governance.
• Analyze data for ML workloads and monitor applications.

About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a AWS Data Engineer with hands‑on AWS experience for the Professional Services - Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the client's data platform. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple aspects of data ecosystems, including Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, data modeling, and cloud‑based analytics solutions.

Often, a Data Engineer will also serve as a critical communicator between other data science team members, working directly with the data scientists who develop the models for building AI systems and the people who construct and run them.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Identifying, creating, preparing data required for modern Data solutions and Data for AI
• Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations
• Designing, building and management of Datalakes architectures
• Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc)
• Integrating and testing Data solutions
• Creating and documenting the tests to meet requirements
• Working with Bigdata Environments
• Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security and data governance
• Analyzing and prepare data for Machine Learning workloads
• Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services

What You Will Bring To The Table

• Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks as ETL, data prepare & ingest, data streaming.
• Experience working in AWS environments
• Knowledge of Python, R or other data process tools
• Intermediate/ Upper English Level
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience using AWS Data services: S3, AWS or Microsoft Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.
• Experience using Devops tools (Git, pipelines)
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
• Experience working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.)

Location

Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!)

Shift

9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
