ITT Inc. is seeking an Assembly Operator II - Field Service Support to perform assembly, disassembly, inspection, repair and testing of rotating equipment in workshops and at customer sites.

You will support Service Engineers during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps, and participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives while upholding safety and quality standards.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly, maintenance, or repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience with rotating equipment and industrial pumps is preferred.
• Previous field service exposure is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Service Engineers during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps and related equipment.
• Perform mechanical disassembly and assembly activities at customer sites.
• Collect operational data and perform basic measurements and inspections.
• Support mechanical alignment, adjustments, and equipment verification.
• Prepare tools, spare parts, materials, and equipment required for field interventions.
• Follow all ITT and customer ESH&S requirements and procedures.
• Complete service documentation and activity reports.

Position Summary

Responsible for performing assembly, disassembly, inspection, repair, and testing activities on rotating equipment both in the workshop and at customer locations. Provides hands-on support to the Service Engineer during field service activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services.

When not assigned to field service activities, the position supports workshop production and repair operations while ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction standards

Essential Responsibilities

Field Service Support

• Assist Service Engineers during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps and related equipment.
• Perform mechanical disassembly and assembly activities at customer sites.
• Collect operational data and perform basic measurements and inspections.
• Support mechanical alignment, adjustments, and equipment verification.
• Prepare tools, spare parts, materials, and equipment required for field interventions.
• Follow all ITT and customer ESH&S requirements and procedures.
• Complete service documentation and activity reports.

Workshop Operations

• Assemble, repair, and overhaul pumps and rotating equipment.
• Perform hydraulic, mechanical, and functional testing according to procedures.
• Conduct dimensional inspections and mechanical measurements using metrology instruments.
• Prepare equipment and components for shipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of work areas.
• Support Production, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse activities as required.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Requirements

Education

• Mechanical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or equivalent technical background.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly, maintenance, or repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience with rotating equipment and industrial pumps is preferred.
• Previous field service exposure is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Basic mechanical drawing interpretation.
• Use of metrology and measurement instruments.
• Basic shaft alignment knowledge.
• Basic ERP and Microsoft Office skills.

Language

• Basic to intermediate English for reading technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
