WPP Production in Buenos Aires seeks a forward-thinking Art Director, AI & Visual Development to lead visual storytelling on major projects. You will partner with the Creative Director, drive AI-powered concepting, and mentor others while blending generative tools with traditional craft.

You’ll own the process from concept to final visuals, ensure high-end storytelling, and help shape a globally connected production culture that embraces AI responsibly.

Formación

• Proven experience as an Art Director or equivalent in an agency or studio.
• Outstanding portfolio showing strong visual storytelling and storyboarding.
• Portfolio must include work with generative AI tools (e.g., Veo, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion).
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of art direction fundamentals: composition, typography, color theory, lighting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; collaborative mindset.

What does an Art Director, AI & Visual Development?

We are seeking a forward‑thinking Art Director with a passion for leveraging AI in the creative process. This is a unique opportunity to work at the vanguard of design, partnering directly with our Creative Director, to set the visual tone for major projects. As our Art Director, AI & Visual Development, you will own the process of translating creative concepts into powerful visual narratives. You are a master storyteller who is as comfortable directing prompts and refining, and you thrive on bringing ambitious ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Creative Director to define the creative vision and then drive the art direction for key projects from concept to completion
• Own the AI creation of high‑impact visual narrative boards and treatments. Establishing a clear and compelling visual language
• Lead a hybrid creative workflow, using generative AI tools for rapid ideation and concept exploration, then applying traditional design craft to polish and perfect the final visuals
• Present and articulate your creative concepts and visual strategy to internal teams and stakeholders
• Iterate on creative work with precision and speed, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the core concept
• Act as a resident expert on AI‑driven design, mentoring others and exploring new tools and techniques to keep our creative team on the cutting edge

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Art Director, Director, Designer, or Concept Artist within an agency environment or studio environment
• An outstanding portfolio that showcases exceptional conceptual thinking, a strong aesthetic, and a mastery of visual storytelling, including examples of storyboarding
• Your portfolio must include examples of work created using generative AI tools (e.g., Veo, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.)
• Expert‑level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• A deep understanding of the fundamentals of art direction, including composition, typography, color theory, and lighting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate your creative vision
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work hand‑in‑glove with creative leadership
