Simera is seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure they meet user requirements and deliver a reliable user experience.

You will perform manual and automated testing, review requirements, create and maintain test cases, document defects clearly, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to validate releases and improve testing processes.

Formación

• Experience creating and executing manual test cases (functional, regression)
• Ability to identify, reproduce, and document software defects clearly
• Strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Experience testing web, mobile, and desktop software

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and technical specs to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, scripts, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after updates.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain records of test results, defects, and testing progress.
