Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician Recruitment Specialist for the Asia-Pacific region (India, Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Oceania). You will source, screen, and recruit skilled DCTs, conduct technical interviews, and maintain a high-quality pool aligned with our standards for smart hands and remote hands work.

You will verify credentials, develop assessments, and manage onboarding and ongoing performance feedback with the operations team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or team staffing experience (DCT pool management counted).
• Ability to conduct technical interviews and assess hands-on datacenter skills.
• Knowledge of DC infrastructure: structured cabling, server racking, cross-connects, PDUs, environmental monitoring.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Organized and detail-oriented—managing a regional DCT database requires precision.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit Data Center Technicians across facilities in the APAC region.
• Conduct technical screening interviews — assess hands-on DC skills, not just resume keywords.
• Build and maintain a vetted DCT pool organized by location, skill level, availability, and reliability score.
• Verify technician credentials: certifications, references, and work history.
• Create and maintain DCT skill assessments and practical evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate onboarding of new DCTs: facility access, safety protocols, SOP training.
• Track DCT performance after deployment — build a feedback loop with the operations team.
• Continuously expand our DCT coverage to new markets and facilities in your region.
• Manage relationships with DCT staffing agencies where we use them.
• Maintain our DCT database with up-to-date availability, skills, and performance ratings.
