Syneos Health in Buenos Aires, Argentina seeks an accounting professional to assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activity and SOX controls, while supporting audits and policy updates.

The role requires a BS/BA in a related field, 3+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Oracle Financials and Excel. Fluency in English is expected.

Formación

• BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Progressive accounting experience, preferably within CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with US GAAP and international exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Assists with ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with global policies and US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Assists with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and maintains process documentation.
• Reviews, maintains, and prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to the general ledger.
• Prepares monthly intercompany reconciliations and ensures intercompany invoicing.
• Analyzes expenses for accurate coding and accrual adequacy; resolves discrepancies.
• Collaborates with GL team and cross-functional groups; participates in cross-functional teams as needed.
• Implements new accounting requirements; participates in policy updates.
• Documents and analyzes current procedures to streamline processes.
• Maintains understanding of general ledger structure and Oracle systems.
• Provides training to staff; supports year-end audit and statutory requirements.
