Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking an AI Solution Architect to guide teams through building and validating AI-driven systems, bridging emerging capabilities with real-world applications. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, shaping deployment strategies and governance.

The role emphasizes hands-on experimentation alongside advisory work, with responsibilities spanning model/tool selection, evaluation, and lifecycle guidance for production-grade AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in senior/lead/manager/owner roles.
• Hands-on experience in AI agent development (design, deployment and iteration).
• Proficiency with AWS cloud for AI solutions.
• GenAI agent evaluation and testing for quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance on agent development, including model/tool selection, deployment approaches, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Evaluate RAG/GraphRAG approaches and vector-store options with the architect; implement the chosen validation plan.
• Define golden datasets, quality thresholds, and regression tests using controlled data.
• Build nonproduction agent workflow in Python when ready, with its tools and a single API integration.
• Test success paths, error handling, permissions, and document outcomes, costs, limitations and gaps.
• Draft deployment/workflow blueprint and engineering playbooks covering semantics, identity, permissions, and autonomy controls.
• Explain AI development approaches clearly to business users and engineering teams; provide production-grade lifecycle guidance.
