Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a hands-on AI Automation & Innovation Analyst to join the LATAM Data Analytics & Business Insights team, based in Bogota, Colombia or Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role focuses on building AI-enabled workflows, dashboards, and end-to-end solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.

You will collaborate with Analytics and Data Science, connect front-end interfaces to AWS data assets, and coordinate with DevOps and InfoSec for deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a plus.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in full-stack development, analytics engineering, data automation, AI solution development, data engineering, BI engineering, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/React/Node.js/Flask/FastAPI/Streamlit or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Hands-on AWS data warehouse/cloud analytics experience; AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, SageMaker a plus.
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines, workflow automation, and orchestration tools (Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Prefect, Dagster) is a plus.
• Experience presenting data and automation outputs through dashboards and tools.
• Media/entertainment industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• AI-enabled automation: develop and implement automation to streamline processes using Python, APIs, and cloud assets.
• Full-stack solution development: design end-to-end solutions with data ingestion, backend logic, APIs, and UIs.
• AWS Data Warehouse work: query, transform, and prepare data; create reusable SQL and data workflows.
• Analytics collaboration: work with Analytics/Data Science to integrate models and outputs into tools and dashboards.
• DevOps & governance: coordinate with Cloud Ops, DevOps, InfoSec for deployments and governance.
• Applied AI experimentation: explore practical AI techniques for business value and pilots.
• Agile delivery & documentation: build prototypes, document requirements, dependencies, and governance.
