Job summary

FullStack is seeking a seasoned GCP DevOps Engineer for client projects. You will join client teams and contribute to AI-enabled development, container orchestration, and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Requirements include 5+ years in Software Engineering or DevOps, strong CI/CD, IaC with Terraform or Deployment Manager, Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), English fluency, and a four-year degree.

This is a 100% remote role serving U.S. clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools integration.
• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor's degree or four-year college degree required.
• GCP production experience: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, GKE.
• CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps in production.
• IaC with Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) in production.
• Observability: Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Agile/Scrum experience and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps.
• Manage GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Stackdriver, Prometheus or Grafana.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer.

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
