EY GDS is seeking a finance operations professional to support end-to-end accounting functions within a global client framework. The role focuses on day-to-day controllership activities, journal entries, monthly reporting, and close management from Buenos Aires.

Collaboration with global teams and delivering timely services are key.

Formación

• Experience in controllership or accounting within a shared services environment.
• Understanding of finance operations processes (R2R, B2P, O2C).
• Experience with shared services models (captive or outsourced).
• Strong communication skills and integrity for clear client interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities and report to Seniors and Managers.
• Execute JEs, monthly flash reports, financial summaries, and close management.
• Build and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships during transition and post go-live.
• Deliver high-quality services with effective client communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with GDS India and US onshore teams and meet KPIs/SLAs.

Role

This role is part of Finance Operations (within the Tax Service Line), providing clients with immediate access to an entire finance function. Services cover end-to-end processes, from transaction processing and accounting to monthly reporting, statutory compliance, and tax activities. The position is based in Buenos Aires and supports a US client.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, reporting to Seniors and Managers.
• Execute activities including:
  • Manual Journal Entries (JEs)
  • Monthly Flash Reports
  • Financial Result Summaries
  • CFO Deep Dive inputs
  • Close Management
• Build and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships during transition and post go-live.
• Deliver high-quality and timely services, ensuring effective client communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with teams in GDS India and the ACR US onshore team.
• Comply with operational metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and other client-defined requirements.

Profile

The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of experience in controllership or accounting within a shared services environment.

• Experience working with Shared Services (captive or outsourced models).
