Responsible for operating the forklift to move locate relocate stack and count finished goods merchandise and is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times.

• Load/ offload/ transfer materials safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the material in the appropriate areas.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
• Periodically report the status of transfer / loading to the Line Manager.
• Maintain upkeep of records relating to delivery / material transfer and the equipment used (log book).
• Check fuel tyre pressure Puncture Fluids Engine Temperature lights etc. of the vehicle before operation of the fork-lift.
• FG pallet label scanning need to be done with the intellinum barcode scanner while loading time and make ensure that the same is loaded to the vehicle properly.
• Maintain 5S and inventory records as per the system requirements.
• Ensure compliance to Safety Quality Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority.
• To ensure that all records and documents are up to date true and correct and have full traceability at all times. To ensure that all processes procedures and activities meet and match those as laid down under company ISO and management procedures.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment periodically. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• To inform the vehicle maintenance in charge on vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Maintain the facility s equipment and materials in a neat clean and orderly fashion.
• To ensure that the vehicle assigned is driven and maintained in the most appropriate and the safest way possible always adhering to the traffic rules and regulations avoiding all traffic fines and accidents.
• Assist team members with day-to-day operations as directed by the Line Manager.

• SSC / High School Education
• Forklift Certification

• A minimum of 2 years similar experience in a warehouse and or production facility.

• Comprehensive industry knowledge.
• Knowledge of traffic / safety rules and regulations
• Should be manually dexterous.
• Fine Motor Skills.
• Agile Movement.
