Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Safety Engineer to implement, monitor, and enforce HSE standards across project activities to ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance. The role involves developing safety plans, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring site operations follow approved procedures, including TBM operations and electrical systems.

The candidate will conduct inspections, audits and toolbox talks, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• Experience implementing and enforcing HSE standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and enforce HSE standards across all project activities.
• Develop and maintain safety plans; conduct risk assessments.
• Oversee HSE measures for TBM operations, shaft construction, cross-passage works, confined space entry, lifting operations and electrical systems.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and management to promote a strong safety culture.
