Job description

A Yoga Instructor/Spa Therapist is responsible for providing guests with high quality service at every stage of the Yoga experience and supporting as Spa Therapist in the Conrad Spa.

What will I be doing?

As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Provide the guest with high quality of service at every stage of the Yoga experience
• Greet the guests upon arrival at the Yoga/ Meditation Centre
• Assist the guests and advise them on the availability and utility of the Yoga equipment
• Check whether guest has any injuries or previous medical history which may prevent him from carrying out his Yoga
• Ensure that all Yoga equipment is maintained in neat, clean and hygienic conditions
• Ensure the hygiene standards are adhered to at all times as per laid down standards/procedures
• Ensure that the Yoga Centre and equipment are neat, clean and tidy at all times and help in retaining the aesthetic beauty of the same
• To adhere to the laid down grooming standards at all times in neat and clean uniforms
• To conduct oneself professionally
• To update one s skills by participating in the training as may be imparted from time to time
• To carry out any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time

As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
• Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
• Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
• Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
• Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
• Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
• Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.

A Yoga Instructor/Spa Therapist serving Hilton Brand Hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• High standard of presentation
• Service oriented
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor
• Ability to effectively deal with owners, customers and team members, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
• Licensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics.
• Proven experience working as a spa therapist.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
