Job description

Assist the Engine Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components.

Will also be responsible for:

1. Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans and stores engine assemblies or components.
2. Disassembles, repairs, reassembles, adjusts, diagnoses, and tests turbine engine systems, subsystems, and components according to applicable manuals and directives.
3. Assists in troubleshooting engines and engine components and rigging engine controls.
4. Uses and performs user maintenance on common and special tools.
5. Requisitions aircraft parts and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft engines and components.
6. Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
7. Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the engines and associated components and subsystems.
8. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

Nationality: No Restriction

Qualification:

• High School diploma. Must have a Federal Aviation Administration Power Plant (P) license or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
• Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) is preferable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years working with aircraft engines relevant to the aircraft platform and position.
