Workshop Supervisor Job Description

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet maintenance workshop. This includes managing a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring the timely maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness in service delivery.

Requirements
  1. Support a workshop with a fleet of 200 vehicles of various brands and models, including loading and offloading equipment.
  2. Diploma in Automobile Engineering with 5-8 years of experience working with brands like Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, TCM, CAT, etc.
  3. Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  4. Valid UAE Driving License.
  5. Experience in initiating automotive services and repairs by diagnosing performance issues, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, and maintaining records.
  6. Strong knowledge of faults in heavy trucks, vehicles, forklifts, and commercial vehicles.
  7. Ability to diagnose automotive problems through inspections, test drives, and review of maintenance records.
  8. Ability to verify warranty and service coverage, and develop cost estimates based on materials, supplies, and labor.
  9. Experience in preparing repair orders, describing problems, obtaining approvals, and entering data into service systems.
  10. Maintain accurate automotive records of problems and corrective actions.
