Job description

Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet maintenance workshop. This includes managing a team of technicians and mechanics, ensuring the timely maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness in service delivery.

Requirements
  1. Support a workshop with 200+ fleets of various brands and models, including equipment for loading and offloading.
  2. A Diploma in Automobile Engineering with 5-8 years of experience working with brands like Mercedes, MAN, Volvo, TCM, CAT, etc.
  3. Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  4. Valid UAE Driving License.
  5. Experience in initiating automotive services and repairs by diagnosing performance problems, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining records.
  6. Strong knowledge of faults in Heavy Trucks, Vehicles, Forklifts, and Commercial Vehicles.
  7. Ability to diagnose automotive problems by listening to driver descriptions, conducting inspections, test drives, and reviewing maintenance records.
  8. Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and developing estimates based on materials, supplies, and labor costs.
  9. Prepare detailed repair orders describing symptoms, problems, and repairs needed, obtaining necessary approvals, and entering data into the service database system.
  10. Maintain automotive records of problems and corrective actions.
