Job summary

Confidential in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee day-to-day workshop activities in Musaffah ICAD 2. The role focuses on supervising technicians, mechanics, fabricators and subcontractors within marine, offshore or heavy industrial environments.

You will ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules, and coordinate with engineers, HSE, QA/QC and other departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in marine/shipyard/offshore/heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage multiple workshop activities efficiently.
• Good communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HSE and QA/QC requirements.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate workshop maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation activities.
• Lead and monitor technicians, mechanics, fabricators, and subcontractors within the workshop.
• Ensure all work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, HSE, QA/QC, and other departments to maintain smooth workshop operations.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machinery, and equipment requirements.
• Conduct workshop inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare daily workshop progress reports and communicate updates to management.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and compliance with marine and shipyard procedures.
• Ensure all workshop activities comply with HSE requirements and company policies.
