Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Design Drawing Technician with a strong background in corporate office interior design to join our in-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings (2D and 3D), assisting the design team with drafting and modeling tasks while ensuring accurate and consistent documentation for use in the development of our global design standardization package. They will work closely with the internal global workplace design team to deliver highly coordinated documentation. Sites can vary in scale and are globally spread with existing information from multiple architects.

Responsibilities:

• Transforming initial concepts and rough sketches into detailed CAD drawings.
• Produce accurate CAD drawings and 3D visualisations that accurately represent design intent using design tools such as AutoCAD 2D / 3D, Sketch-up, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, technical details, and building layouts.
• Handle and interpret data sources (equipment lists, schedules) to integrate into drawing sets.
• Work closely on our internal space calculator in delivering fast responses to test fits and layouts.
• Assist in drawing coordination and assessments for global workplace projects, ensuring drawing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in CAD drafting for interior architecture or workplace design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to develop floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and Photoshop; rendering skills and Revit are a plus.
• Strong technical drawing skills and understanding of office fit-out and detailing.
• Ability to deliver both conceptual visuals and construction-ready documentation.
• Experience with space planning, selecting and specifying finishes, and detailing interior construction elements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interior design or architecture background.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, CAFM systems, or large dataset-driven documentation.
• Experience in global workplace design or corporate standards.
• International project exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
