The Opportunity
On behalf of one of the world’s most prestigious law firms we’re seeking a skilled Working Capital Controller to join the Dubai team.

Key Responsibilities

Working Capital & Client Financial Lifecycle

• Serve as the front-line finance advisor to a group of partners, building trusted, consultative relationships.

• Manage the billing and credit control process end-to-end—ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with agreed client terms, VAT regulations, and Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.

• Monitor working capital, drive WIP and debtor management, and forecast billing activity to support business decisions.

• Collaborate on pricing strategies, profitability tracking, and matter analysis.

• Liaise with colleagues globally to manage rates, billing schedules, e-billing requirements, and client onboarding workflows.

Advisory & Business Support

• Provide financial insight that informs business planning, pricing, and operational decisions.

• Engage in profitability modelling, performance reporting, and financial presentations.

• Work with senior stakeholders across Business Development, HR, and Project Management to align finance with firm-wide strategy.

• Actively support financial process improvement and firm-wide finance projects.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience in revenue, billing, or credit control—legal or professional services experience preferred.

• Strong commercial mindset and ideally a qualified finance background.

• Confident working with senior stakeholders; excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, think proactively, and meet deadlines under pressure.

• Comfortable navigating complex systems and financial processes—Elite 3e knowledge is a plus.

• Energetic, organised, and self-motivated with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
