Job summary

BELHASA JOINERY&DECORATION in Dubai, UAE, seeks an experienced Draftsman to develop shop drawings for wooden doors and joinery. You will review drawings, prepare fabrication and installation drawings, and coordinate with production and site teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in wooden door shop drawings and strong knowledge of fire-rated door construction, with proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil, architecture or drafting.
• Minimum three years in wooden door and joinery shop drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of fire-rated wooden door construction and hardware coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Experience in the UAE joinery industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for fire-rated wooden doors, frames, architraves, and door hardware.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and door schedules.
• Produce fabrication and installation drawings for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, and site staff.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare material take-offs and door schedules as required.
