Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Specialist in Dubai to maintain high‑performance wireline tools and equipment. You will inspect, test, repair, and validate downhole and surface systems, ensuring readiness for deployment and compliance with HSE standards.

You should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering with experience in maintenance, repair, testing, and SAP-based CMMS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline tools and equipment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting circuits, sensors, telemetry, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read schematics, circuit diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, cleaning, and repair of wireline tools and equipment.
• Conducting assembly/disassembly and system‑level validation of downhole and surface equipment.
• Executing preventive and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and functional testing.
• Managing incoming inspection and post‑job evaluation of equipment.
• Ensuring equipment preservation, storage readiness, and accurate documentation of maintenance history.
• Supporting work preparation, including spare parts planning and repair scope definition.
• Participating in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
• Following HSE policies, maintenance procedures, and quality standards.
