Job Description
- Good experience in IT operations, Windows Administration, Windows Server Patching, Vulnerability Remediation, OS hardening and performance tuning.
- Support and monitor cloud infrastructure hosted in Azure, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Resource Groups, Storage, and basic networking.
- Troubleshooting, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
- Familiar with Windows Cluster, File Server, DFS, OS Performance troubleshooting. Experience building, managing, and upgrading VMware virtualization environments.
- Resolving Incident tickets, remote System Administration of Windows servers, resolve Level 1 & 2 support.
- Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including Group Policy, OU structure, replication, and troubleshooting authentication issues.
- Maintain and support Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid) environments.
- Perform user and group management across AD, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online.
- Administer and monitor Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Deploy, manage, and upgrade virtualization platforms, including VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts, HyperV and Nutanix.
- Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and support hybrid cloud models (Private, Public, and Hybrid), ensuring integration and security of workloads across environments.
- Ability to configure VMs and Web Applications through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell.
- Basic Knowledge of Networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewall, Proxy Servers, Routers etc).
- Understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Remote Management of servers through ILO, DRAC and RSA.
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
- Work closely with application support & security teams to implement up-to-date patch levels and application specific feature configuration.
- Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause analysis.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, AWS.
- Hands-on knowledge of Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online.
- Strong experience in hybrid on-premises to Cloud, private and multi-cloud and workload migration.
- Good experience in Azure IaaS/PaaS, Monitoring, backups, security best practices.
- Previous experience in a help desk support and troubleshooting role.
- Previous experience supporting virtual servers and solving network issues.
- Previous experience in a 24x7 managed services, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment a plus.
- Previous System administration and support experience (Windows operating systems; experience with mixed environments a plus).
- Previous experience with Kubernetes and experience with networking subnetting, routing and firewalls.
- Previous experience with Azure based deployments or other cloud platforms a plus.
- Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Cloud Services such as Azure, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Exchange Online, Intune, One Drive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and managing Windows Server 2012 - 2019 and Active Directory environments.
