Job summary

UAE Government Health Facility in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a Western qualification to join its advanced surgical team and deliver expert care for complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.

You will perform CABG and valve surgeries, lead multidisciplinary teams, provide preoperative and postoperative care, and contribute to clinical audits, CME, teaching, and professional development.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Western qualification such as UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Royal College, Australian FRACS, South African Board, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.
• Perform CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and other advanced cardiac surgeries.
• Perform thoracic procedures within scope of practice.
• Provide preoperative assessment and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and operative reports.
• Contribute to clinical audits, CME, teaching, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and patient safety standards.
