Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a leading government healthcare facility in the UAE. The role focuses on expert surgical care for complex cardiac and thoracic conditions, with responsibilities across preoperative to postoperative care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized Western qualification, 3–5 years post-specialization experience at consultant level, and a track record in CABG and valve surgeries, along

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic/Cardiac/Cardiovascular Surgery.
• Western qualification preferred (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, ABMS, FRACS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.
• Perform CABG, valve repair/replacement and other advanced cardiac surgeries.
• Conduct thoracic procedures within approved scope.
• Provide preoperative assessment and postoperative care.
• Coordinate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists and intensivists.
• Maintain surgical records and contribute to audits and CME.
• Ensure compliance with UAE patient safety standards and regulations.
