Job summary

Ontime Group in Dubai seeks a qualified General Practitioner with aesthetic medicine experience to join our clinic. The GP will provide non-surgical aesthetic treatments, conduct patient consultations, and develop personalized plans in line with UAE regulations.

Responsibilities include performing injectable treatments when licensed, performing skin rejuvenation procedures, documenting care, ensuring safety, and collaborating with nurses and support staff to deliver a seamless patient experience

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS or equivalent.
• Valid DHA licence, as applicable to the facility in UAE.
• Aesthetic medicine training/certifications preferred.
• Experience in aesthetic medicine or dermatology/aesthetic clinic preferred.
• Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and injection safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and medical assessments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing non-surgical aesthetic treatments, conducting patient consultations, developing personalised treatment plans, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with applicable UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, and aesthetic suitability evaluations.
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on patients’ concerns, expectations, medical history, and clinical suitability.
• Perform aesthetic procedures within the scope of the physician’s licence, approved privileges, and demonstrated competency.
• Administer aesthetic injectables, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, where appropriately licensed and privileged.
• Perform skin rejuvenation treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and other approved aesthetic procedures within the scope of practice.
• Assess skin conditions, facial anatomy, ageing concerns, and treatment outcomes.
• Explain treatment options, expected results, potential risks, contraindications, and aftercare instructions to patients.
• Obtain informed consent before performing procedures.
• Recognise and manage complications within the physician’s competence, including arranging urgent referral or escalation when required.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records, treatment notes, consent forms, and follow-up documentation.

Patient Care & Service Excellence

• Build trust and maintain professional relationships with patients.
• Provide evidence-based advice on aesthetic treatments and skincare.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and schedule appropriate follow-up consultations.

• Collaborate with nurses, laser therapists, skincare specialists, and reception teams to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Participate in promotional activities, clinical meetings, and professional development programmes, where required.
• Keep updated on advances in aesthetic medicine, treatment technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Valid DHA licence, as applicable to the facility and location, or eligibility for the relevant license.
• Relevant aesthetic medicine training and certifications.
• Previous experience in aesthetic medicine or a dermatology/aesthetic clinic is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the specific aesthetic procedures required for the role.
• Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, skin assessment, injectable treatments, contraindications, and complication management.
• Excellent communication, consultation, and patient counselling skills.
• Professional conduct, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
