Job summary

Antal is seeking a Market Penetration Lead to execute commercial development strategies targeting the polymer industries in Ghana and Nigeria. You will own full lifecycle activities—from lead generation and deal structuring to negotiation and delivery logistics.

Candidates must have verifiable polymer trading experience, an active West African network, high autonomy, and fluency in English. The role requires mobility for regional travel and a hunter mindset to close deals.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in polymer trading (PE, PP, PVC, PET, PS) with knowledge of plastic manufacturing applications.
• Familiarity with macroeconomic factors, logistics, and distribution networks in West Africa.
• Pre-existing commercial network within the West African plastic/polymer sector.
• Fluency in English is mandatory and autonomy with strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Market Penetration Lead and execute commercial development strategies targeting the polymer industries in Ghana and Nigeria.
• Full Cycle Management: Take ownership of lead generation, deal structuring, contract negotiation, and delivery logistics.
• Relationship Management: Maintain high-touch relationships with local manufacturers, converters, distributors, and industrial buyers.
• Risk Credit Management: Evaluate regional commercial risks, ensure compliance with import/export regulations, and manage client credit terms.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor price fluctuations, supply chain trends, and regulatory shifts to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
• Adept at following Trends Prices Competition.
